I think this was around the age of 7 with cousins that showed me the Atari 2600 console with the legendary Pong.

What do you find most enjoyable in video games?

To not feel alone, to evolve through the story of a game. Mostly at the end of the game, to have accomplished it proudly and that the games thanks you for having beaten it.

Risky question: Retro or New?

Hmmmm next question

It would be a game with a view from above like the games 1944, where a cat tries to run on a cat tree up to the summit without being harmed and dodging other cats and dogs. Most important, to jump at the right time from one tree to an other that would scroll up and down.

Interview of committee members

You will find here a small interview proposed to the members of the committee in order to get to know them better.

Why be part of this non-profit organization?

At first I was forced to do it, it was like a pact with the Devil lol, then I got a taste for it and I integrated. (stockholm syndrome).

What is your role in the non-profit organization?

I thought I was there for the cultural diversity quota, nah I'm kidding I had an appointment for Alcoholics Anonymous “For a buddy…” and in the end I found myself in a Geek meeting… .. .Euhhhhh from Gamers! To top it off, I didn't understand their language. Luxembourgish, English, German, Portuguese and French have no secrets for me lol, but their languages based on (Avatar, MMO, Buffer, DoT, ESport, Guild….) It wasn't for me.

If you could choose, would you have another role within the non-profit organization?

President without hesitation, the right of death and life over the rest of the non-profit organization would be a tailor-made role for me! ... or EX-Member it depends on who is going to read my interview. But in the meantime I am a Graphic Designer at the ASBL and that's fine for me, I had not put it to the previous question. Too much bullshit kills bullshit.

Which message to send, by this non-profit organization, is the most important for you?

If you are alone, friendless, rejected by society or if you went to the wrong door and had a date at Alcohol ... ... Nah that's not it.
A message to send? Maybe the gathering, without Nationality, without Religion, without Colors, without Politics, just the same passion, the video games.

What do you hope for the future of the non-profit organization?

The success! So that they can pay their members! Finally, let's remain realistic, have the most view to reach as many people as possible and bring together all the gamers to find out who is the strongest! Or mainly to have a Great Brotherhood that shares the same vision.

More personnaly now

When did you fall into video games?

The day BEFORE YESTERDAY, when Richard insisted that I do my interview and that I had to have some basic about video games, but before that around 8/9 years old, I went to my neighbor to play NES, we couldn't afford a living room console at that time. At least that was not the priority. I remember it was Mario and Duck Hunt on the same game with the Nes Zapper.

What do you find most enjoyable in video games?

When Alexandre lends them to you for free. And the freedom to do whatever you want, a huge variety of things for everyone. The possibility to escape at any time from real life. To simply decompress and keep our Youth from the adult world.

Risky question: Retro or New?

It’s not really a risky question, it’s the entire interview that annoys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't really care! I have designs on the fire waiting for me to illustrate our site to beautify the eyes of our readers. But a mix of the two is the right compromise, you have to move forward and discover new technology and from time to time (20%) remember the good times… Team New we're here !!! mouhahahah

What is your favourite franchise / game?

GTA !!!!! Infinite Frustration before the 6th! That's why I have an Ulcer !!!
Gun games… ..a nah they call it FPS here.
Racing games and football.

If a retro game were to have the right to a Remaster, which game would you choose? (choose a game that has not had a Remaster)

-Playboy: The Mansion in VR with the headset! (just kidding but admit that you thought about it ... ..)
-Nan more seriously RIVAL Schools in Graphics mode 2021!

What is your favorite console (excluding PC)?

Playstation !!!! Team SONY !!!

You have the opportunity to put yourself in the shoes of a video game producer, present your game to us. Title, graphic style, game style (RPG, FPS, etc.), short summary:

Title: Botrl: The Game!
Graphic Style: VR
Play Style: Adventure

The game start in a non-profit association of Gamers, the President is playing, Suddenly a portal opens to the world of Video Games following a problem with the latter's console, various Bosses (the bad guys) kidnap him , and takes him to the depths of the Matrix through different universes, You! You play as the hero who must go and save our victim with the help of different known characters …………… Personally, as soon as he disappears, I turn off the console!

Welcome Stéphane!

First of all, before saying welcome to our new member of the committee, I would like to thank Manu.

He was our secretary, but above all he was one of those who made this project possible. He did everything he could so that Zeph our president could create this magnificent non-profit organization and bring together a beautiful community. All this until making our association a very important player in the Luxembourg Esport scene and helping us to have great projects. It goes without saying that our future projects will also be possible thanks to him. Please know that we are planning a lot of good things in the medium term.

So a big thank you to Manu, to an exemplary member, secretary and friend.

Now, welcome Stéphane!

Nobody puts pressure on you because of who you have to replace, we are sure that you will know how to honor him and help us in all these beautiful projects.

To introduce him, know that he has been a friend and member of our association from the start. He even had a booth during our first event which took place a month before the health crisis.

His booth planned to showcase card games. You surely know Magic the gathering, Pokémon or Yu-Gi-Oh!

Well, he specializes in one of the most recent games. In particular, the DBZ card game. He is the proud owner of a huge collection of cards and knows the game inside out.

He was able to help our guests to understand the game and quickly appreciate it.

His talents will be appreciable for our non-profit organization and his seriousness will make him an excellent secretary and a member who will know how to make us evolve continuously.

All committee members are happy to see him join our team. For the record, it was voted unanimously by the committee!

Stéphane welcome home!

Holidays were great

We know. For the holidays everyone has great thoughts, wishes, love and good resolutions. Sadly, it eventually became a bad habit not to achieve our goals that good resolutions became an annoying topic. So annoying that those who had great wishes were discouraged by others that don’t bother as soon as they talk about their great wishes.

Why and from where that habit comes isn’t relevant. We are gamers and our internet site isn’t there to debate about it! Your “geekish.journalist” only wants to wish you, with our ASBL, an happy new year and encourage you with your great resolutions!

If it’s not at the beginning of a year that we may boost one another to achieve our goals then when? Yes, if you understand that otherwise … and so one, clearly. But a new year we can have a new start. We should encourage one another instead of morally downing everyone.

I have great resolutions for this year. Less being upset (grey hairs are sexy but I’m not ready for it), being less lazy, (especially mornings, who invented that concept anyway?) and mostly having as much fun as possible!

Therefore, I guaranty you that our articles will have the best quality possible and that we will try with our ASBL to organize reunions with our community so we may talk gaming, drink gaming, eat gaming and just play together!

It won’t be always easy with the sanitary obligations, it won’t be easy as our committee are fathers, husbands, we have jobs and have a lot to do. Be aware that all we do for the community is done with passion.

While writing new articles we will pay attention to advices, observations and tricks we received. We will never be thankful enough for your generosity and commitment. Now is time for gaming, (marketing) console war, PC Master Race and all other debate about gaming.

I have great expectations for this year, in particular to (finally) purchase a PS5, to test some games. Moreover, I’m impatient for Pokemon Legends, Arceus, Stranger of Paradise, A Final Fantasy Story that will be out soon. I’m impatient to have maximum pleasure with Guardians of the Galaxy, to finally play Final Fantasy VII Remake. Yes, as a huge fan I still didn’t play it and it begins to itch everywhere!

I have hope for some novelties, even for console accessories, who knows? And to get news about the next Final Fantasy (XVI), the next E3 and how we will live the event and other news that could be more surprising than others.

Tell us what you are awaiting for this year, whether it is for your live in general or for gaming! Comment on Facebook or on our site!

Until then, good game to all and a happy coming year!

Zeph is back on the Arma des Dons

Hello everyone. Hope you are doing well, otherwise I hope this article will help you feel better. I am going to introduce you to what Arma des Dons is. The great idea of Unbeulibabeule the streamer is to bring together gamers to do everything to raise funds for the league against cancer (France).

This streamer had this great idea and it's an understatement to say that it's a resounding success. So like all those who are generous or those who are part of charitable works will tell you: "Every sum counts". It must also be said that for a first edition and for streamers who are far from having the influence that some stars in the middle may have, Arma des Dons 2020 will have collected more than 25,000 euros!

It is only natural that all of these streamers were proud of themselves, their contribution and their respective communities.

With a Zeph totally dedicated to the cause, his relentlessness at work to give pleasure, Unbeulibabeule once again trusts him. Zeph has answered the call and will be there again. With 42 streamers, November 27 will be the charity stream with the same idea. Help the league against cancer to raise funds for any use in the fight against this disease.

It is with love, pride and joy that these streamers will embark on crazy streams to bring as many people as possible to have fun, have a good time and donate.

Last year already many people participated in the donations and the Arma des Dons community is counting on you again this year!

On November 27th this crazy stream will take place, with the possibility to donate live, to participate in a unique and very fun event.

As usual Zeph surrounds himself with great people and with Arma des Dons he proves once again that he makes good choices. Unbeulibabeule and his big heart gave life to an event that can make a difference.

But this will only be possible if all are present and give the maximum. Streamers first, viewers second.
See you soon, have a good game and be there!

Post Esports Masters comes to an end

Red Lions’ Post Esports Masters

Last Saturday (05.06.21) it was time for our Red Lions to fight. They had to play against RelyOn for the 3rd place of the tournament. In their first game they literally dominated their opponents. You could really tell that they were training hard for the last weeks, because of how they played. The match ended with a win for the Red Lions.

redlions1

This win boosted the confidence and the moral of our players, which in general a good thing, but not this time… In their second game some of the players became too cocky and overestimated themselves. They lost their focus, and they were run over by RelyOn. The game ended with a loss for the Red Lions.

In the last game they realised that they cannot underrate RelyOn. Our Lions fought with everything they had. In every single fight, you could see that they were 100% determined to win the game. The game was very close. It was a head-on-head match. Neither of both teams wanted to lose. For every fight, our Lions won, there was a counter play from RelyOn. It was an interesting game until the last second. Unluckily for the Red Lions, RelyOn won the decisive fight and won the game. BOTRL’s team earned the 4th place after a hard and heavy season.

redlions2

Nevertheless, we are still proud of our Team, they did their best and we are looking forward for next season of Post Esports Masters.
