Why be part of this non-profit organization?

  • Because I like to share the same passion with my friends. And if we can promote this passion in the form of an ASBL (non-profit organization), it is even better.

What is your role in the non-profit organization?

  • I am the income / outcome manager and I write articles for our website.

If you could choose, would you have another role within the non-profit organization?

  • No, I am satisfied with the role I have.

Which message to send, by this non-profit organization, is the most important for you?

  • Video games are a passion that brings together people of all categories and whose primary goal is to make people happy.

What do you hope for the future of the non-profit organization?

  • A nice community and a committee that remains healthy and cooperative.

More personally now,

When did you fall into video games?

  • Around the age of 6-7 when I had an accident and to keep the time in the hospital going, my parents bought me my first Game Boy and that was where it all started.

What do you find most enjoyable in video games?

  • I love games that have a great story to tell and I love games that require the skill to complete a task.

Risky question: Retro or New?

  • New

What is your favourite franchise / game?

  • I love the Uncharted series and I was a veteran in the very first Call of Duty where I invested hours and hours in Multiplayer mode with my old clan.

If a retro game were to have the right to a Remaster, which game would you choose? (choose a game that has not had a Remaster)

  • Starfox Adventures which was released on Gamecube! I have finished this game several times.

What is your favorite console (excluding PC)?

  • PS5

You have the opportunity to put yourself in the shoes of a video game producer, present your game to us. Title, graphic style, game style (RPG, FPS, etc.), short summary:

  • The playstyle would be Adventure with elements of an RPG like the evolution of his character. As I am fascinated by the history itself and especially the era of the world war, the game is set in the era of the 2nd world war. There are a lot of FPS playing in this era, but I miss any adventure games or RPG in this style.
  • I will choose a fairly realistic graphic style with a third character camera.
  • Since I'm not too good at inventing names, the title would simply be “WWII”.

Why be part of this non-profit organisation?

  • First, I decided to join Brotherhood of the red lion, because I found the idea, to promote every aspect of gaming and to build up a community, of this non-profit organisation more than awesome. Furthermore, I wanted to support my friend Alex (President), who initialised the project.
  • Last but not least, in my opinion gaming still does not get the attention as it should be, gaming is a serious hobby and it connects people.

What is your role in the non-profit organization?

  • My main role is treasurer, I ensure that every cent is trackable and that we have at all moments a good overview on our finances. My second role is E-sport manager. I am always in contact with our E-sport members and check what their needs are. Furthermore, I have weekly meetings with the team to be up to date.
  • In addition, I also stream regularly on our Twitch channel and I am also making pictures to promote our streams on social media.
  • I am also the scout of our organisation, in terms of streamers. I am always checking on the social media to see if there are any new Luxemburgish streamers, who want to join our crew.

  • So, as you can see, I am a jack for all trades.

Risky question: Retro or New?

  • I’m a big Dark Souls Fan, which means I like challenging games. I enjoy playing challenging games as much as I rage at them.

Risky question: Retro or New?

  • Maybe that’s because I am much younger than the other Members, but I am definitely on the “News” Side of gaming. I am always surprised by what the creators are able to do, doesn’t matter if it’s an awesome story or new graphics.  New games were always the path of progress.

You have the opportunity to put yourself in the shoes of a video game producer, present your game to us. Title, graphic style, game style (RPG, FPS, etc.), short summary:

  • The title would be something like “Do or Die!” The graphic style would be like Dark Souls 3, dark, lots of effects, etc.  It would definitely be a Soul’s like game. It would play in our modern Society where the Nuclear Holocaust cause various mutation on animals, who are attacking the Human race. As the protagonist of the story you could choose your starting layout and class, like in the other souls games. You would have to fight those Mutants with guns, swords, etc. The objective is to gather all resources needed to create an antidote that cleanses the World from those mutations. You’ll have to face challenging Boss FIghts in order to get your ressources.

Interview of committee members

You will find here a small interview proposed to the members of the committee in order to get to know them better.

Why be part of this non-profit organization?

At first I was forced to do it, it was like a pact with the Devil lol, then I got a taste for it and I integrated. (stockholm syndrome).

What is your role in the non-profit organization?

I thought I was there for the cultural diversity quota, nah I'm kidding I had an appointment for Alcoholics Anonymous “For a buddy…” and in the end I found myself in a Geek meeting… .. .Euhhhhh from Gamers! To top it off, I didn't understand their language. Luxembourgish, English, German, Portuguese and French have no secrets for me lol, but their languages based on (Avatar, MMO, Buffer, DoT, ESport, Guild….) It wasn't for me.

If you could choose, would you have another role within the non-profit organization?

President without hesitation, the right of death and life over the rest of the non-profit organization would be a tailor-made role for me! ... or EX-Member it depends on who is going to read my interview. But in the meantime I am a Graphic Designer at the ASBL and that's fine for me, I had not put it to the previous question. Too much bullshit kills bullshit.

Which message to send, by this non-profit organization, is the most important for you?

If you are alone, friendless, rejected by society or if you went to the wrong door and had a date at Alcohol ... ... Nah that's not it.
A message to send? Maybe the gathering, without Nationality, without Religion, without Colors, without Politics, just the same passion, the video games.

What do you hope for the future of the non-profit organization?

The success! So that they can pay their members! Finally, let's remain realistic, have the most view to reach as many people as possible and bring together all the gamers to find out who is the strongest! Or mainly to have a Great Brotherhood that shares the same vision.

More personnaly now

When did you fall into video games?

The day BEFORE YESTERDAY, when Richard insisted that I do my interview and that I had to have some basic about video games, but before that around 8/9 years old, I went to my neighbor to play NES, we couldn't afford a living room console at that time. At least that was not the priority. I remember it was Mario and Duck Hunt on the same game with the Nes Zapper.

What do you find most enjoyable in video games?

When Alexandre lends them to you for free. And the freedom to do whatever you want, a huge variety of things for everyone. The possibility to escape at any time from real life. To simply decompress and keep our Youth from the adult world.

Risky question: Retro or New?

It’s not really a risky question, it’s the entire interview that annoys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't really care! I have designs on the fire waiting for me to illustrate our site to beautify the eyes of our readers. But a mix of the two is the right compromise, you have to move forward and discover new technology and from time to time (20%) remember the good times… Team New we're here !!! mouhahahah

What is your favourite franchise / game?

GTA !!!!! Infinite Frustration before the 6th! That's why I have an Ulcer !!!
Gun games… ..a nah they call it FPS here.
Racing games and football.

If a retro game were to have the right to a Remaster, which game would you choose? (choose a game that has not had a Remaster)

-Playboy: The Mansion in VR with the headset! (just kidding but admit that you thought about it ... ..)
-Nan more seriously RIVAL Schools in Graphics mode 2021!

What is your favorite console (excluding PC)?

Playstation !!!! Team SONY !!!

You have the opportunity to put yourself in the shoes of a video game producer, present your game to us. Title, graphic style, game style (RPG, FPS, etc.), short summary:

Title: Botrl: The Game!
Graphic Style: VR
Play Style: Adventure

The game start in a non-profit association of Gamers, the President is playing, Suddenly a portal opens to the world of Video Games following a problem with the latter's console, various Bosses (the bad guys) kidnap him , and takes him to the depths of the Matrix through different universes, You! You play as the hero who must go and save our victim with the help of different known characters …………… Personally, as soon as he disappears, I turn off the console!

Welcome Stéphane!

First of all, before saying welcome to our new member of the committee, I would like to thank Manu.

He was our secretary, but above all he was one of those who made this project possible. He did everything he could so that Zeph our president could create this magnificent non-profit organization and bring together a beautiful community. All this until making our association a very important player in the Luxembourg Esport scene and helping us to have great projects. It goes without saying that our future projects will also be possible thanks to him. Please know that we are planning a lot of good things in the medium term.

So a big thank you to Manu, to an exemplary member, secretary and friend.

Now, welcome Stéphane!

Nobody puts pressure on you because of who you have to replace, we are sure that you will know how to honor him and help us in all these beautiful projects.

To introduce him, know that he has been a friend and member of our association from the start. He even had a booth during our first event which took place a month before the health crisis.

His booth planned to showcase card games. You surely know Magic the gathering, Pokémon or Yu-Gi-Oh!

Well, he specializes in one of the most recent games. In particular, the DBZ card game. He is the proud owner of a huge collection of cards and knows the game inside out.

He was able to help our guests to understand the game and quickly appreciate it.

His talents will be appreciable for our non-profit organization and his seriousness will make him an excellent secretary and a member who will know how to make us evolve continuously.

All committee members are happy to see him join our team. For the record, it was voted unanimously by the committee!

Stéphane welcome home!
